Just a small town girl…..

Does where we come from make us who we are or does it make us who we will become one day. I’m sure we have all asked our selves how did I get where I am today. My story is defianetly a whopper if you ask me, I was a poor girl who had a “rough” childhood. I believe that anyone can become who they are destined to be, but only if they can believe it for themselves. We all have the power to change and create the life we want for ourselves if we are willing to do what it takes. I don’t believe for a second I just got lucky. But hard work has benefited me from day 1. I had my first job a 9years old and now at 41yrs I have a business and family and get to live the life I want and enjoy the best of it. Many my say your just a hairdresser, but I disagree, I may be a hair dresser but I never gave up my dream of success and to live a better life then I was handed. I have used my skills in life to achieve so much and with the support of my husband we have created a life worth dreaming about.I decided tell others about buy story and in the hopes that it may to motivate another to live their best life.

Welcome to my page. Everyone calls me Betty. California is my home and where we choose to raise our kids, although we have had the privilege to see many places outside of California even though we aren’t rich. I can’t wait to share with everyone all my budget friendly travels and let everyone in on my little secrets. I’ll be sharing many of my journey’s around the globe I’ve had the chance to see with my family and friends. I also want to share that whatever in life is possible as long as you want it.

We live a unconventional life I’ve been told. I’m a tattooed loving, f-bomb throwing, weed smoking, boss babe, eccentric Mom (older teenagers) what can I say. No, I don’t come from money and a rich family and no one ever helped me along the way financially. Just good old hard work. But somehow I learned a thing or two about getting what I need and I’m trying to live my best life. I get many questions asked to me on how the heck are you able to do it. I do have a few financial tricks about traveling and keeping it affordable, but my motto is work hard play hard.
